Collaborate Show and Tell

Blackboard Resource Shell for Faculty and Adjunct Faculty in CTC
I have created a Blackboard shell for resources for CTC faculty and adjunct faculty. It's open enrollment. To add yourself to the course:
1. Log in to Blackboard
2. Click the Courses tab on the right side of the window
3. In the courses window, on the left, locate the Course Search box
4. In the search box, type (or paste) *CTC. The name of the course is *CTC Faculty Resources
5. This is the only course that shows up in the list. Click on it.
6. Click on the drop down chevron at the end of the course name.
7. Click Enroll from the drop down list. (It's your only option.)
8. Type in the password ctc
9. You are now in the course!

Best Loved Assignments
This article from Prof Hacker reminds me of the joys of teaching. The comments are great, although the ones that I read were more academic than career and technical assignments. I'll put a discussion board in *CTC Faculty and Adjunct Faculty Resources if you want to comment on your favorite assignment.
Drone Email Strikes
I'm a firm believer in face to face discussions or a phone call if the email trail gets too long. Here's a take on dealing with those occasional crabby emails that we all get (but hopefully don't send!)
